The body of a 32-year-old man was discovered hanging from a tree in a field next the M27 in Trenance Park, Verulam this morning (Sunday).
The Reaction Unit South Africa Verulam Operations Centre received a call 06:24 after the discovery was made. On arrival Medics discovered the Trenance Park resident in a seated position with a nylon tow rope tied around his neck and a branch on the tree. He was declared deceased at the scene.
According to his wife, the deceased was last seen at approximately 23:00 last night (Saturday). He was under the influence of alcohol and was escorted out of the property by Law Enforcement following a domestic dispute.
The South African Police were called to the scene and are investigating further.
