A 31-year-old man who was being sought for a case of house break-in was apprehended by his relatives in Redcliffe,
Verulam.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to a Buffelsdraai Road in Redcliffe where the suspect was apprehended. On arrival, his relatives informed Reaction Officers that the suspect had broken into their home in April 2021. They registered a criminal case however he could not be located. Today they noticed him exiting a bush in the area when they nabbed him. He was found in possession of used car spares which were suspected of being stolen.
The suspect was placed under arrest and detained at the Verulam SAPS.
