The Department of Minerals and Energy (DMRE) in partnership with its relevant stakeholders, including the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association of South Africa (LPGSA) urges all sellers (including retailers) of LPGas to comply with the regulations on the matter of displaying the LPGas price on the premises which it is sold at.
The DMRE regulations state that according to the Price Display Regulations No. R 376 published on 14 May 2010 makes it mandatory for retail sites to publish LPGas prices. Thus, to its end, all sellers of LPGas are mandated to display the LPGas price for the consumer’s benefit. All retail sites of LPGas are kindly urged to take note of the regulations and ensure that their organization remains compliant at all times.
