Trichotillomania, also known as “trich”, is a disorder that involves recurrent, irresistible urges to pull out hair on the body including the head or on other places such as their eyebrows or eyelashes. Symptoms of ”trich” include hair loss, such as shortened hair, thinned or bald areas on the scalp and missing eyelashes or eyebrows.
