A man was arrested after he was caught driving at 220km/h on the N1 near Laingsburg in the Western Cape, SABC news reported on Friday.
He was travelling towards Beaufort West in a BMW X5 when he was trapped outside Laingsburg in the morning, provincial traffic director Kenny Africa was quoted as saying.
The man was arrested and would spend the Christmas weekend behind bars. – Sapa
