Earlier this morning, while on regular patrols in the Raisethorpe CBD, a vigilant Mi7 Reaction Officer spotted one man matching the identity of a known suspect wanted for various cases of housebreaking in the Northdale area.
Mi7 Control Room Operators worked quickly to contact the last known complainant whose premises was broken into. The complainant advised that their case was still opened with the police and the suspect is still being sought.
The suspect was strategically cornered off and apprehended. The suspect was then transported to a local police station where the complainant also met with Mi7 Reaction Officers.
The matter was handed over to the police for further investigation.
