A cow was killed after it was struck by a truck on Sunlark Drive in Dawncrest – KZN today (Saturday).
A passerby contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance at approximately 09:26. On arrival, Reaction Officers were informed that a truck (make, model & registration unknown) struck the cow and drove off without stopping to assist. The animal was seriously injured. RUSA Members provided nourishment for the cow which demised while waiting for veterinary care.
The owner arrived shortly thereafter and removed the deceased animal from the scene
