Gift of the Givers distributed bulk food and detergent supplies to Old Age homes in Brits, NorthWest Province.
These Old Age homes, which have been serving the elderly for a considerable period, are housed in old school buildings. Most of these facilities heavily rely on the pensioner’s social grants to cover essential expenses like food, electricity, petrol, and staff wages.
The team visited an old age home in Hoekfontein Village, Lerato la Bagolo Old Age Home and Oskraal Old Age Home together with the Madibeng Health Department to support and facilitate the distribution process.
