JMPD uncovered an illegal mining operation in Stormill, Rooderpoort.
One illegal miner shot and fatally wounded after a shootout with officers, 5 rifles, 1 shotgun, 1 9mm pistol, explosives, ammunition, and Illegal mining equipment recovered.
Local authorities were also on the scene for assistance and further investigations.
