Determined response officers’ commitment leads to an arrest. After receiving a report of a break-in at a filling station along Marine Drive in Gqeberha last week, Fidelity response officers met with the customer to check the CCTV footage and to get a description of the suspect.
It was noted that the female entered an unalarmed area but did not notice the CCTV camera. The hunt for the suspect was on but was fruitless at first. However, this did not deter the determined officers as they continued their search on their next shift and managed to locate the female in another part of Summerstrand.
The suspect was arrested, and the SAPS was contacted. She was positively identified as the woman on the footage and was taken to the Humewood police station. Great work done by these two officers leading to success!
