The Hawks’ Serious Commercial Crime Investigating Unit in Johannesburg is investigating charges of fraud and theft involving the transfer of around R3,3 million on which R1,8 million was used to purchase a property.
On 05 October 2020 Ananthan Naidoo (42) and Charlene Ramsamy (43) were arrested and released on bail by the Palm Ridge Specialised Commercial Crimes Court. On 27 September 2022, the pair failed to appear in court and a warrant of arrest was issued.
