Saron Police members were busy with patrols when they received information about a business robbery in progress on Saturday, 06 January 2024.
The members gathered the relevant information and then requested assistance from nearby Tulbagh SAPS members who responded to the request.
Whilst patrolling the Provincial R46 road they located the vehicle which resulted in a high speed chase. The chase came to a halt when the police members stopped the vehicle near to Riebeeck Kasteel. They searched the occupants and the vehicle and, in the process confiscated an imitation firearm, and goods, presumed to be the stolen property.
Three suspects between the ages 29 and 30 were arrested on a charge of business robbery.
The suspects are due to appear in the Tulbagh Magistrates court once charged.
