Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was requested to be on lookout for suspects after three (3) offices at the South African Police Services (SAPS) in Verulam – Kwazulu Natal were burgled last night (Wednesday 17/0/2024).
SAPS Officials booking On-Duty this morning discovered that forced entry was gained into the Sector Managers, Communications and Supply Chain Management offices. Several valuables were stolen.
In July 2023, a branded Verulam SAPS vehicle was stolen from the Police Station. It was later recovered on Court Lane in the Verulam CBD – KZN. The stereo and spare tyre were stolen.
A hijacked Isuzu bakkie recovered by Reaction Officers in Mhlasini – KZN last year (2023) was stolen from the Verulam SAPS a week later.
The information posted was supplied to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) by Policemen stationed at the Verulam SAPS.
