A Puff Adder measuring approximately 1.2 metres was captured on a property near Emgezengwane Primary School in Ndwedwe – KZN.
A resident contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance after they discovered a large snake which they assumed was a Python between a house and a Jojo tank.
Reaction Officer Nathi Ndaba was dispatched and on arrival identified the snake as a highly venomous Puff Adder.
Officer Ndaba safely captured the Viper and removed it from the property.
