An integrated operation between Groot Brakrivier SAPS and Mossel Bay Law Enforcement led to the arrest of a male suspect who was caught with a substantial quantity of stilpayne tablets on Tuesday morning, 11 June 2024.
The members received information about a male person who is selling the tablets in Greenhaven, Groot Brakrivier. A search warrant to search the identified premises was obtained and executed when the members ensued with a search of the house. They found and confiscated 1203 stilpayne tablets and subsequently arrested a 56-year-old man for contravention of the medicine act.
He will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrates’ court once he has been charged.
