In the spirit of Women’s Month, female law enforcement officials from the Gauteng Traffic Police, Gauteng Traffic Wardens, RTIA, EMPD, and Home affairs are joining forces this morning to conduct a roadblock operation.
The roadblocks is aimed at monitoring motorists’ compliance with traffic laws, searching for illegal contraband, including drugs, unlicensed firearms, and stolen vehicles.
Additionally, the operation targets drunk drivers, whose reckless behavior puts the lives of all road users at risk.
As part of the ongoing roadblocks, motorists are given the opportunity to check and pay their AARTO fines and infringements on-site.
