Today marks World Anti-Corruption Day which saw City Manager Dr Imogen Mashazi launch the 2024/25 campaign to raise awareness about corruption and its impacts on communities.
Today, the whole world has come together to fight the scourge of fraud, says Dr Mashazi, adding that the City subscribes to Clean Governance, Anti-Corruption, and Integrity.
‘It is for this reason that we have a designated fraud and corruption line, and for this very reason that we have partnered with the office of the Public Protector and the Special Investigations Unit so that issues of integrity are elevated, and where there is suspicion of wrongdoing, such is curtailed immediately.’
