Members of Empire Protection Service received reports of a business robbery in progress at a tuck shop on Greenbury drive in Phoenix. Members were dispatched!
Upon arrival it was established that five suspects into the said business producing weapons demanding cash, whilst defending himself the shopkeeper was stabbed in the right hand.
The fleeing suspects made away with approximately R1000-00 in cash and a Samsung Mobile phone.
One suspect was arrested a short while later in the vicinity of the Rainham pool on Raincould Cresent and found to be in possession of a white narcotic substance.
The shopkeeper was treated by paramedics on scene for the injuries sustained and refused further medical treatment!
