After a client activated his alarm requesting assistance as an African male suspect was Fleeing from the property with a ladder.
KZNVIP Reaction Officers who were responding to the scene noticed the suspect carrying the stolen items and running towards Caneside.
The suspect dropped the items and began to flee. Additional Reaction Officers were dispatched to search the vicinity for the suspect but unfortunately he managed to evade arrest.
Suspects description was black beanie and black dirty clothing.
The Recovered goods were handed back to the homeowner.
All emergency services were in attendance.
