Public assistance is required to locate the family of 21-year-old Cindy Nkila Mbele and her her seven-month-old son.
Social Workers from the Verulam Child and Family Welfare Society arrived with Mbele and her infant child to RUSA HQ a short while ago (Thursday) requesting assistance to locate her family. The only information Mbele provided is that she is from Msintsane in the Eastern Cape.
She allegedly arrived in KZN in January 2025 and has since been residing with her mother in law.
She left after her mother in law’s allegedly threatened to murder her. She cannot provide Reaction Officers and Social Workers directions to the residence where she resided while in KwaZulu Natal. It cannot be confirmed if she suffers from mental health issues.
