JBH Surveys has reported that an Assistant Surveyor in their employ is missing since Saturday (1/03/2025).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was contacted this morning (Tuesday) requesting that a wellness check be conducted at the home of Mbuxiseni Mbedu aka Sipho who has not been seen for several days.
Reaction Officers were granted permission to gain entry into the home and searched the premises unsuccessfully. Mbedu could not be located & neighbours informed Officers that he did not return home for days.
According to information provided, Mbedu is 47-years-old and is a light drinker. He has been in the employ of JBH Surveys for eight years. Mbedu has a fear of water and almost drowned as a child. It could not be confirmed if the recent heavy rainfall and flooding could be related to his disappearance. He Watsapp account was last seen on Sunday (2/03/2025) at 18:30.
