At approximately 14:33, KZN VIP Control Centre received a report via social media about a home invasion at the above-mentioned address in Hopecroft, Phoenix. KZN VIP Response and Tactical officers were immediately dispatched to the location.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the homeowner, who explained that she and her family were inside the property when 2 African male suspects, both dressed in blue tracksuits, entered the house through an open gate. The suspects then held the family at gunpoint and demanded valuables.
The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.
KZN VIP Response conducted A detailed patrol in the surrounding area, but no suspects matching the description were found. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to local authorities.
