Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni led yet another successful multidisciplinary high-density #OperationShanela at Golden Highway, Orange Farms where at a roadblock 20 suspects were arrested for drunk and driving, nine for possession of drugs and two for possession of a stolen motor vehicle with a Sunnyside case number. The Gauteng detectives arrested 713 suspects overnight, 144 suspects were arrested for crimes against women and children.
Furthermore, police closed three liquor outlets for not complying with the Liquor Act.
