A man believed to be aged in his 20’s has died this afternoon after a structural wall collapsed on him in Mowbray.
The events leading up to the incident is unclear, but the man was allegedly standing in a trench when the brick wall fell on top of him. When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found the man removed from under the pile of ruble.
The worker had sustained fatal crushing injuries and was later declared dead at the scene. The incident will be investigated by the appropriate authority.
