A three-year-old girl has died after being electrocuted in Kaalfontein, Midrand this afternoon.
The child’s mother was busy with washing when she noticed the lifeless body of the young child. The mother reported that the child was electrocuted by an exposed electrical wire while she was playing.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene and immediately commenced with resuscitation but after forty minutes they could not revive the young girl.
Exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
