Crisis Medical paramedics responded to reports of an accident at the intersection of Inanda Road and Joyce Road at 22:40 this evening.
On arrival, paramedics found two vehicles some distance apart from each other. They immediately assessed the vehicles and found that 3 people had been injured with lacerations and facial trauma. All of the injured were transported to hospital to receive further medical care.
It is thought from on scene reports that an errant driver failed to stop at a red light colliding into the back of another vehicle before spinning out and coming to rest against a traffic light.
SAPS members were on scene to determine the exact cause of the collision.
