A gas explosion at a temple in Longcroft Drive Phoenix this afternoon has left four people injured two critically so. Reports from the scene indicate that the people were cooking inside the temple Kitchen at around 11h38 when the explosion occurred.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the fire department arrived at the scene and found the patients on the ground outside the temple. Two patients were in a critical condition while two others sustained serious burns.
Paramedic’s stabelised the injured on scene before transporting them to the Netcare Umhlanga hospital for the acre that they required.
