Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a fire in Boshoek, North West in the early morning hours of today.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a building was on fire and one person tragically lost their life. Another person sustained minor to moderate injuries and after receiving treatment on scene, the injured person was transported to a nearby medical facility for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the fire and proceeding events will remain the subject of a fire department investigation.
