ER24 Durban paramedics were called to a motor vehicle accident on the N2 south bound near the cement factory this morning.
On arrival they found a single light motor vehicle had rolled several times before coming to rest on the embankment.
The driver and only occupant of the vehicle luckily sustained only minor injuries and was placed on a specialised stretcher for suspected neck and spinal trauma before being transported by ambulance to Life Chatsmed Gardens Hospital for further care.
The exact cause of the accident and the events leading to it are un known and local authorities were on scene and are investigating further.
