An eight – month – old child is in a critical condition after she fell from a couch and landed on her head this morning at around 11h00. Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events is still sketchy at this time.
The parents raced the child to a local doctor for treatment, Netcare 911 paramedics were called to the scene and after the child was treated they transported her to a Netcare hospital in Umhlanga for the care that she required.
