Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N14 near Malibongwe Drive in Krugersdorp this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle had overturned resulting in two children being ejected from the vehicle. Tragically one of the children, aged fifteen, lost his life due to the extensive injuries he had sustained. The other young boy and a woman were found to be in a critical condition.
They were both treated on scene before they were rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care that they required.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
