Three people have been injured, two seriously so after two vehicles collided on the M4 North bound before Moore Road around 10am today.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived to find that the two vehicles had collided before one overturned coming to rest on its side. Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that two patients had sustained moderate injuries whilst one was lucky to escape with minor injuries. All of the injured were stabilized on the scene before being transported to various Durban hospitals for the care that they required.
It is unclear what caused the collision however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
Traffic was severely affected as only one lane was open whilst emergency personal worked to clear the scene.
