A man sustained minor injuries this morning in a building fire in Victoria Road, Durban.
The building was well ablaze when ER24 paramedics arrived on scene.
Paramedics found and treated one man who sustained minor bumps and bruises after jumping down a flight of stairs to escape the blaze. He was thereafter transport to Addington Hospital for further treatment.
Provincial fire services were on scene to fight the blaze.
It is not known what caused the fire, but local authorities were on scene to begin their investigations.
