A gardener was found dead in a Koi pond at a residential address in Pringle Road, Sanddrift.
It is alleged that the owner of the house was out during the day and when he returned he found the fifty three-year-old gardener lying face down in the pond.
When emergency services arrived on the scene they found the patient had been partially pulled out from the pond. Paramedics assessed the man but he was unfortunately dead on their arrival.
Police were on scene and are investigating the incident.
