Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to a shooting incident on Viviers Street in Danville, Pretoria after 02h00 this moning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found a man in a serious condition following the shooting incident.
The man was treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
