A man believed to be in his twenties was killed this morning when his Citi Golf collided into a tree on Lurie Road in Benoni.
Paramedics from ER24 that arrived on the scene found the man still in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Unfortunately he sustained multiple fatal injuries and there was nothing that paramedics could do for him.
Paramedics later declared him dead on the scene.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet known and the incident was handed over to the local authorities. At this stage it is not clear if another vehicle was involved in this incident.
