Three road workers were injured after their machinery overturned on Spring Side Road Hillcrest this afternoon. A report from the scene indicates that the men was on a machine doing maintenance on the road when it overturned, they jumped off but landed under the vehicle.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the men lying on the roadway. After they were triaged medics established that two men were seriously injured while one escaped with minor injuries.
After the injured were treated at the scene medics transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
