A man has died while three others have been left injured during a collision involving two vehicles on the R56 road between Ixopo and Umzimkulu this morning.
One of the vehicles burst into flames during the collision. Paramedics from the Ixopo KZN EMS base treated another three male patients who had all sustained critical injuries after the collision. The patients were transported to Christ the King hospital in Ixopo for continued medical care.
The cause of the collision is being investigated by the police.
